Privacy Policy

Information currently processed

TripMood processes the travel preferences you enter, including origin, dates, budget, party details, transport, pace, food, weather and accessibility preferences. Saved trips, recommendation feedback and prepared beta feedback are stored in your browser unless you deliberately share them.

Google sign-in

Google sign-in is available for device-local identity display. Google returns an identity credential to your browser, and TripMood stores a limited display profile in session storage until you sign out or close the browser session. TripMood does not yet create server accounts or synchronize saved trips. Secure backend verification, retention, export and deletion workflows will be documented before cloud account sync is enabled.

Analytics

The beta creates first-party product events in the browser so a future analytics provider can be connected. No external analytics destination is configured in the current release.

External services

Maps, official tourism references and booking partners open on third-party websites. Those services apply their own privacy practices. TripMood does not receive their account credentials or payment information.

Your choices

You can clear TripMood’s local data through your browser’s site-data controls. Do not include sensitive personal or financial information in beta feedback. Account export, deletion and correction workflows will be added before account synchronization is enabled.

Children

TripMood is not directed to children under 18 as independent account holders. Family-trip preferences describe the travelling party and should be entered by an adult.

Security and retention

Browser data remains until you clear it. TripMood uses HTTPS on supported production hosts and applies restrictive browser security headers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

The effective date will change when this policy is updated. Material changes should be presented before new account or data features are used.
